Hi. I’m Katrina VanTyne, a digital marketer and writer based out of Waterbury, Vermont. I grew up in a small town called Winthrop, Massachusetts where we never locked our doors and we walked everywhere. Even up hill, in the snow, both ways. I graduated from Salem State University with a degree in communications and public relations and a minor in music. I really just wanted to be a rock star but thought I should probably get a degree to “fall back on.” It proved to be a good move.
Currently, I work as a marketing director for a computer company that sells industrial and embedded technology. My passion is digital marketing and content writing. I’m an active blogger and write two other blogs besides this one; Session Obsession, a blog on Irish music and Kat Tracks, my travel blog.
I like a good mystery novel, traditional Irish music and the smell of cool air after a summer rainstorm. I love to write and have always kept a journal. One day I hope to take my life experiences and turn them into something interesting for people to read. Until then, I’ll use my content writing and creativity to help businesses promote their brands online.
